The greatest but deadliest martial arts tournament is in the pipeline and there are events which will lead the fighters to the infamous "Ring of Death". Japan is about to invade Russia and the Russian Ambassador to China, seeking political glory, sends for the Russian martial arts champion. Meanwhile a Chinese fighter, Niu, helps an old man who teaches him the secrets of the very special "Dragon Claw" technique. His wife then teaches him "Flowing Bridge Fist" and the young man combines the two styles into the "Dragon Bridge Fist", a deadly form of kung fu. On the day the tournament begins, the Russian champion is so formidable, he kills all of his Chinese opponents... But the final fight is still to come!

A consistently exciting kung fu film that offers an endearing central character, some clever training scenes and lots of superbly staged bouts, including the intense finale between star Cliff Lok and guest villain, high-kicker Hwang Jang Lee!
