Chang Cheh assembles an all star cast for this all time classic! Set in the last years of the Republic when China was under threat of invasion from the Japanese, the story centers around government minister Mr. Gau who discovers a plot to turn China into a Japanese colony. With the help of the underground, Mr. Gau must make his way across Shanghai to take a ship to Hong Kong where he will present his evidence. But the traitors also have their contacts in the criminal community and they will go to any lengths to stop him!
