Schooled in traditional martial art training for film by acclaimed director Liu Chia Liang, Hui Ying Hung was considered one of the top action females of the 1980s. In The Tiger and the Widow, Hui mixed up in a salt smuggling ring led by stalwart Shaw Brothers action star Liu Yung (Tiger) and famed Taiwanese singer Tanny Tien Ni (a beauteous young widow), that wreaks of missing persons, altruism and bawdry complications.
