The problem is later exacerbated when a punk rock band in Furuchi's building ties into an external power line for an upcoming performance and the heater gets even more juice, sending it on a murderous rampage that threatens their entire apartment complex. Now the only way to stop it is to replace the little silver seal that keeps the vicious device under control.
