However, she was suddenly dragged into a storehouse. The traffickers Yatahachi and Kame intended to transfer her to another post town. Seizing a brief opportunity, Omino escaped from the storehouse and, while hiding behind a Jizo temple, was rescued by a covert agent of the magistrate's office. Determined to sever ties with the secular world, Omino sought the remote Kakekomi Temple, Shogetsuin, which she had heard about. While climbing the mountain path, she encountered two woodcutters and asked them for directions to Shogetsuin. They offered to guide her, but when Omino stepped behind a tree to relieve herself, they suddenly attacked her. Toyed with by the men’s lust, Omino finally reached Shogetsuin with great difficulty. Little did she know that this seemingly peaceful nunnery was, in reality, a den of demons...
