But when he is defeated in a tournament by Khoo San's monkey fist Shao swears vengeance. Khoo lives in a small village with a gym owned by Drunken Ho, an old master of the invincible drunken style. One of his students is a young lad named Liang Chai. Liang insults the two sons of the evil Yan Fung Tien, who hires two fighters- Shao and Lun Chun-known as the double snakes. They storm the gym, kill drunken, and wound Liang. Khoo teaches Liang the monkey fist whilst he recovers, then he and Khoo set out in searcdh of the double snakes. After a duel, Khoo is killed by the double snakes. When burying Khoo, Liang observes a monkey fighting a snake.
